Un nouveau sentier ouvert par Hughe existe.... Et il vaut le detour. Il part du sommet de la Charbonniere pour arriver au pont romain de Figanieres. Ca commence tranquillement en legere montée, puis ca commence a être technique, ca se calme ensuite pendant un moment avec de beaux passages sur une crete. Et le final devient hyper technique et juste avant la fin, un tire bouchon de la mort! Ca descend severe, ca tourne sec, y a un arbre, la sortie est hyper raide mais heuresement securisée avec des filets. J'ai pas osé, j'ai fais la lopette cette fois ci.
Franchement 15 min de bonheur a descendre.



A new trail has been opened by Hughe in Figanieres and it worth it! It starts on the top of the Charbonnieres trail and arrives at the old roman bridge in Figanieres. It starts gently by going up between the trees and the first dowhnill section is technical and steep. After this one it's easier, in the trees and on a ridge with a beautiful view. And the final is very hard and technical. Almost at the end, there is a very sketchy corkscrew. It's steep, the turns are so tight, there is a tree to welcome you and the exit is secured by a net (thanks..). Honestly, today I did the chicken and I used the chicken way this time.
This trail is awesome and is pretty long for the area standard: 15min to go down.

La Mouliere ouvre comme toutes les années le 1er Mai avec pour l'occasion journée gratuite pour les riders et une pasta party géante gratuite organisée par la Mairie. Bref un moment a ne pas manquer avec peut etre encore quelques plaques de neige ici et la, qui sait?

The Mouliere bike park is opening on May 1st as usual. This year, this opening day is free for the riders and the Cailles city hall invite all the riders to a free giant pasta party. It's an event to doesn't miss in the region for all the riders from the beginners to the experts.

No I don't ask you to follow me but this is the title of the new Collective (Anthill film now) which will be available on DVD in May! You can see some Whistler, Sun Peaks and Sillver Star action and one segment was shot at my brother in law friend's place. The guy named Brad has huge dirt jumps in his backyard. The jumps are like crankwork style! I was there two years ago and it was impressive and for the film he just made new jumps sicker than the ones he had.

No, ce n'est pas une invitation a me suivre mais le titre du nouveau film de "The Collectiveé nouvelement nommé "Anthill Films" qui sera dicponible en DVD a partir de Mai. Plus segments sont filmés a Whistker, Sun Peaks, Silverstar et un segment a été tourne dans le jardin d'un pote a mon beau frere pas loin de Kamloops. Le gars a construit des jumps enormes dignes du Boneyard de Whistler derriere sa maison. J'ai été voir son jardin il y a 2 ans et c'etait impressionnant et les jumps construits pour le film sont encore plus gros que ceux existant deja.

La piste No Joke dans la zone Garbanzo a Whistler est re ouverte depuis l'été 2009. Enfin les travaux de VANOC sont terminés et le Bike Park retrouve son potentiel maximum...

The No Joke trail in the Garbanzo zone in Whistler is finally re open since the summer 2009. The VANOC work is finish and the bike park has is full potential again.
